Court Reporting Certification

by Genie Kelley February 08, 2018

When choosing a court reporter for your next deposition or hearing or court case, be sure to look for what certification the court reporter has attained.  You will want a court reporter who has passed national speed tests so you can be assured the court reporter is capable to handle your most difficult cases.  Choose a court reporter who stays up to date with the most current technology, offers real time court reporting services, videoconferencing facilities, daily copy/rush transcripts, etc.  Also choose a court reporter who has memberships in their local and national court reporting associations, which shows the court reporter takes the time to invest in their profession, networks with other court reporting professionals, and stays abreast of the latest and greatest in the court reporting world.
